Roy Krishna scored a goal as Bengaluru FC thrashed Indian Air Force 4-1 in Durand Cup last night.
Other goals were scored by Indian national team captain Sunil Chhetri, Faisal Ali and Sivasakthi Narayanan.
Bengaluru FC now joins Mohammedan SC at the top of Group A.
Following the win, Krishna says he is happy to register their second win but unfortunately their win was dampened when they heard a footballer making racists remarks about their teammate.
He says football should be a fair playing field and not an opportunity to belittle the opposition, no matter how passionate you are about the sport.
Meanwhile, Bengaluru FC says they are in touch with the relevant authorities in this regard.
