Jone Koroiduadua, Emosi Tuqiri, Etonia Waqa and Kitione Salawa have re-signed with the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua for the 2024 Super Rugby Pacific season.

The four players played a key role in the Drua in this year’s Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific.

Koroiduadua and Tuqiri were among the 20 Drua players named in the Fiji Water Flying Fijians recent internationals and Rugby World Cup campaign. Their experience from a successful stint with the national side will be a boost for the Drua’s campaign in the new season.

While welcoming the signings, Fijian Drua CEO Mark Evans says they are extremely pleased this group of players have pledged to remain with them.

He says they are building an increasingly strong squad for the upcoming seasons, with consistency and continuity uppermost in their minds.

Evans says it will be an exciting 2024 season as they host seven home matches for the first time ever, and they can’t wait to play again in front of their families, friends and the world’s best fans.

He adds as their ‘16th player’, fans make all the difference for them.

The Fijian Drua will announce further re-signings in the coming days.

The Drua will kick off its season in Auckland against the Blues on 23rd February 2024.

They will then play Moana Pacifika in round 2 in Melbourne, before heading back home to host the Crusaders on 9th March and will head to Hamilton to meet the Chiefs on 16th March.

The team returns home for back-to-back matches against the Tahs on 24th March and the Western Force on 30th March.

The Rebels host the Drua on 6th April and the team returns to host the Hurricanes on 19th April and Moana Pasifika on 27th April.

After two away games against the Brumbies (4th May) and Western Force (11th May), the Drua will host the Reds in Fiji on 18th May.

The last away match will be against the Highlanders on 26th May, before the final regular season match Fiji against Melbourne Rebels on the 1st of June.
