The Korean Government has provided a boost to Fiji’s youth sector with a grant worth $41,879 that will assist 8 youth groups.

Minister for Youth and Sports, Parveen Bala says the grant assistance will assist in areas of positive youth development.

He says the 8 youth clubs that were successful in their bidding make up a total of 239 members.

The Minister has reassured the Korean Government that the recipients will make good use of this assistance and will improve livelihood of their community and create work opportunities.

Bala says this is a pilot project and he looks forward for their continued partnership and more assistance so that youths throughout the country can be assisted.
