Dual Olympic gold medallist Jerry Tuwai is likely to return to the Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s squad as newly selected coach Osea Kolinisau has indicated that he wants to see Tuwai winning his third Olympic gold medal.
Speaking to fijivillage News, Fiji Rugby Union Interim Chair Peter Mazey says Kolinisau told them yesterday that the greatest thing that he could see would be for Tuwai to be a three-time Olympic winner.
He says Tuwai is absolutely determined to get his fitness up and prove to everybody that he still can do it.
Mazey says Tuwai has been training hard, and he is ready for the 48th Fiji Bitter Marist 7s this month to prove himself.
