As the iconic HSBC Hong Kong 7s will be moving to a new venue next year, the Fiji Airways National Men’s 7s is aiming to lift the prestigious title for the last time at So Kon Po stadium.

With 19 previous wins at So Kon Po Stadium, Fiji Men’s 7s coach Osea Kolinisau wants Fiji’s name to be written forever on the cup as the last winner to lift the title before it moves to a new venue.

Kolinisau says they have had rigorous training over the past two weeks to ensure the boys are primed for this crucial leg of the series.

He says the players competitiveness and determination in training are evident, and they are highly motivated.

Fiji will open their Hong Kong 7s campaign against Australia at 9.30pm next Friday, they will then take on Canada at 12.33am next Saturday and play France at 5.43pm next Saturday in their final pool match. The Hong Kong 7s will be held from next Friday to Sunday.
