People living around Kings Road junction to Nokonoko Roundabout and nearby areas are advised to take a detour to Golf Link Road and Nokonoko Road, turning up to Kinoya Road or into Vasant Lal Road as Fiji Roads Authority will be carrying out essential road maintenance works on Ratu Dovi Road.
FRA says the road closure will be from Kings Road junction to Nokonoko Roundabout starting from 9pm tonight until 4am tomorrow.
They say during this closure, traffic going into Ratu Dovi Road to access areas of Laucala Beach will be affected.
FRA advises people to plan their travel accordingly and follow the temporary traffic management plan in place.
They say people can alternatively use Kings Road and then turn into Velau Drive or Kinoya Road.
