Kenya 7s star Oscar Dennis will not be part of the second leg of the World Rugby 7s Series in Cape Town

Kenya 7s star, Oscar “Odiero” Dennis will not take part in the second leg of the World Rugby 7s Series this week in Cape Town.

Dennis fractured his cheekbone during their match against South Africa in Dubai last week and has undergone surgery in Dubai. 

Director Kenya Rugby Union, Ray Olendo says that Dan Sikuta will replace Dennis in their 13 member team this week.

Olendo says they are satisfied with Kenya’s performance in Dubai and are looking forward to improved results in Cape Town.

Kenya is pooled with Samoa, Australia and Ireland in the Cape Town 7s.

The Cape Town 7s will be held this Saturday till next Monday.
