Legendary surfer and 11-time World Champion Kelly Slater, will compete in the 2024 SHISEIDO Tahiti Pro and Corona Fiji Pro as the World Surf League men’s wildcard entrant.

Tourism Fiji CEO, Brent Hill says they are thrilled to welcome the legendary Kelly Slater to the shores of Fiji for the Corona Fiji Pro.

Hill says Slater’s participation adds an extra layer of excitement to an already highly anticipated event.

He says Slater's legacy in the world of surfing is unparalleled and having him ride the waves as he winds down his career is truly special.

The Tourism Fiji CEO says Fiji's breathtaking beauty and world-class waves provide the perfect backdrop for this momentous occasion, and cannot wait to showcase our stunning destination to the world as we host this unforgettable event.

He says they are confident that the eyes of the world will be on Fiji, highlighting Fiji as a premier surfing destination.

The Fiji Pro will be held from August 20-29 at Cloudbreak Tavarua.
