Kangaroos coach Mal Meninga has named six debutants in his side to face Scotland in Australia’s second group stage clash this Saturday.

Meninga says this clash will also serve as a selection trial, hoping to finalise his side moving past the group stage.

Panthers star Nathan Cleary, Liam Martin, Isaiah Yeo, Matt Burton, Campbell Graham and Lindsay Collins are on Meninga’s list and will be wearing the famous green and gold strip for the first time.

Cleary takes Daly Cherry-Evans's spot at halfback, while both Martin and Yeo will take their places in the back row and locks.

Cherry-Evans remains on the side as the 18th man, while Cowboys young gun Jeremiah Nanai was also named as the 19th man.

Meanwhile, the coach was pleased with his teams performance against Fiji and knows they need to improve throughout the tournament.

Kangaroos will face Scotland at Coventry Building Society Arena this Saturday at 6.30pm.
