A juvenile charged by FICAC for allegedly registering under a false name using false information on several occasions has been released on strict bail conditions by the Suva Magistrates Court.

He is charged with two counts of Giving False Information to a Public Servant and one count of Making a False Statement.

FICAC says the juvenile allegedly lodged a Registration of Employee application and an application for a Fiji National Provident Fund (FNPF) Joint Card with FNPF using a fake Birth Certificate registration number and a TIN letter number under a different name.

The boy also allegedly used the fake Birth Certificate to register as a voter with the Fijian Elections Office.

The matter was adjourned to 9 April 2020.
