Swire Shipping Fijian Drua loose forward Joe Tamani has set his sight on earning a spot back into the Fiji Water Flying Fijians squad anytime soon after he returned to the Fijian Drua for the 2025 Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific season.

Tamani says it is always been his goal to represent the Flying Fijians on the international stage and he will work harder to try and make his way back into the squad.

The 27-year-old was re-signed by the Fijian Drua for the 2025 Super Rugby Pacific season after spending this season in France in the Pro D2 competition.

The Vagadaci, Levuka, Ovalau man says it is a great feeling to be back into the Fijian Drua set-up and is looking forward to bringing with him the learnings he had from France and putting them into work.

Tamani made his Flying Fijians debut against Samoa in the Pacific Nations Cup competition last year.

Meanwhile, the Flying Fijians will take on the USA Eagles at 10.05pm this Saturday in Japan in the semi final of the Asahi Super Dry Pacific Nations Cup.
