The Methodist Church of Fiji says it was a challenge to get their members to accept the COVID-19 vaccine and ensure they are following COVID related protocols.
Secretary for Communications, Reverend Wilfred Regunamada says the Church tried to encourage the members to adapt to the new ways and protocols implemented by the Government.
He says this was not an easy task.
Regunamada says they continued to have faith and their members later agreed.
He says fully vaccinated members and ministers also took up the challenge to create awareness on the vaccine and the protocols in the areas they are serving.
