Ireland centre, Garry Ringrose will miss his country’s next two Six Nations fixtures against Wales and England, after suffering a finger injury during their 19-12 win over Scotland in round one.
The 25-year-old was replaced by Robbie Henshaw and was later seen with a heavy strapping on his thumb at full-time.
Other injury concerns for the Irish are Dave Kilcoyne and Caelan Doris, but both Kilcoyne and Doris are proceeding through the Head Injury Assessment process, and they could return for this week’s clash against defending champions Wales.
Ireland will take on Wales at 2.15am Sunday.
Looking at other matches, Scotland will face England at 4.45am Sunday while France will play Italy at 3am Monday.
