Iosefo Masi and Taniela Sadrugu named in the Fiji Bati 50 member squad

Former Fiji 7s players, Iosefo Masi and Taniela Sadrugu have been named in the Fiji Bati 50 member extended squad to the 2022 Rugby League World Cup in England.

Fiji Bati Coach, Joe Rabele says in the previous Rugby World Cup, many of the finest NRL and Super League stars with maternal and paternal links to Fiji have always put their hands up to represent our nation to the pinnacle of Rugby League's global performance stage.

Rabele says out of the 50 member squad announced today, 11 are locally based.

He hopes to finalize a squad of 30 with 26 travelling players and four non-travelling after their June test match against the PNG Kumuls in Australia next month.

The Vodafone Fiji Bati 50 member extended squad, are Forwards - Apisai Koroisau, Joe Lovodua, Penioni Tagituimua, Tariq Sims, Viliame Kikau, King Vuniyayawa, Lamar Manueli Liolevave, Jacob Saifiti, Daniel Saifiti, Korbin Sims, Tui Kamikamica, Kane Evans, Joseph Vakacerivalu, Taniela Sadrugu, Tikiko Noke, Lasarusa Tabu, Jason Tigarea, William Eyre, Penaia Nadakuni, Tevita Satae, Kaylen Miller and Maika Serulevu.

Backline - Kevin Naiqama, Marcelo Montoya, Isaac Lumelume, Vuate Karawalevu, Maika Sivo, Semi Valemei, Vereti Peceli, Waqa Blake, Taana Milne, Mikaele Ravalawa, Pio Maisamoa Seci, Bandon Wakeham, Sitiveni Moceidreke, Kurt Donoghoe, Ilaitia Moceidreke, Joeli Baleilevuka, Amenatave Bakabaka, Wilson Tabuya, Marika Turagaiviu, Ethan Robinson, Waqasaqa Qiolevu, Jason Qareqare, Ratu Inoke Vasuturaga, Iosefo Masi, Mesake Kurikitoga, Sunia Turuva, Netane Masima and Neville Fiu.
