The Ioane brothers were the stars for the Auckland Blues, scoring five tries last night as they thrashed the Melbourne Rebels 71-28 in Super Rugby Pacific.

Reiko Ioane scored a hat-trick while loose forward Akira Ioane scored twice.

The Rebels started off well as they scored two tries within five minutes in the first half, however, everything changed within minutes later as the Blues ran away with eleven tries.

Other tries for the Blues came from fly-half Stephen Perofeta, Mark Telea, Hoskins Sotutu, Finlay Christie, James Tucker and Caleb Clark.

In another match last night, the Highlanders beat the Reds 27-19.

Moana Pasifika will meet the Waratahs at 4.35 this afternoon, the Chiefs will take on the Brumbies at 7.05pm today, the Crusaders will face the Force at 9.45 tonight and the Fijian Drua will play the Hurricanes at 3.35pm tomorrow.
