Injury time Wasasala penalty sees Suva beat Rewa in DPL

Christopher Wasasala scored an injury time penalty as Suva beat Rewa 2-1 in the Digicel Premier League at the ANZ Stadium this afternoon.

Vanuatu import Alex Seniel gave Suva the lead in the 15th minute as they led 1-0 at the break.

Setareki Hughes then equalized for Rewa in the second half with a beautiful free kick before Wasasala stepped up to score the winner in the dying minutes.

Suva had earlier beaten Rewa in the first round of the DPL.

In other matches this afternoon, Lautoka beat Navua 2-1 while the match between Nadi and Nadroga ended in a one all draw.
