Indisciplined students related to issues at home - Kuruleca

Indiscipline of students is related to issues happening at home.

Permanent Secretary for Education, Selina Kuruleca highlighted this in an interview with fijivillage News and is calling on the parents, guardians and grandparents to get involved in raising their children.

Kuruleca says values of making good decisions, good behaviour and morals need to be instilled by parents in their children from home as teachers are doing the best they can.

The Permanent Secretary says the Ministry is doing what it can within the processes that they have and the procedures within the Ministry.

She further says the Ministry has restarted, poster competitions, creative writing, speech competitions and essay writing so that students can explore their creative talent.
