Indian man allegedly sets bank on fire after loan application was rejected

An Indian man allegedly set a bank on fire in the Haveri district of Karnataka after his loan application was rejected.

According to the Times of India, the accused has been identified as Wasim Hazaratsab Mulla who was upset over his loan application rejection.

He has since been arrested the case has been registered with police.

According to the police reports, the accused had approached a Canara Bank branch and submitted an application to secure a loan.

The bank later rejected his application as his CIBIL score was low and denied a loan after the verification of documents.
