India finished day three of the Men's International Test Match Series on 90-2 to lead England by 96 runs at stumps in the opening test.
India had earlier bowled England out for 465, claiming a first-innings lead of six runs.
India were missing the retired Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.
Jasprit Bumrah says the game is in the balance and they have to bat well.
Bumrah says he likes to enjoy his time on the field and nobody is dropping catches purposefully and sometimes the cold makes it difficult to catch.
The match will continue tomorrow.
