Improving living standards is vital for fostering collaboration and cooperation within the community.

While speaking at the commissioning of the Burekalou footpath at Lami Village, Assistant Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister, Sakiusa Tubuna says the Coalition Government is dedicated to fostering partnerships with local communities by providing necessary financial resources while ensuring that communities and their members actively contribute to the efforts.

Tubuna acknowledged the community's participation in this developmental initiative, supported by the Coalition Government.

He says it is important to recognise that no development can be successfully undertaken by the government alone; collaboration is essential.

Tubuna says many villages may struggle to cultivate a sense of unity, but he was grateful to observe that the residents of Burekalou continue to demonstrate that collaboration is still possible.

Assistant Minister Tubuna also emphasised to the residents of Burekalou that regardless of their location, whether in the remote interior of Viti Levu or elsewhere, they can always rely on the government's support.
