Minister for Women and Children Lynda Tabuya

Minister for Women and Children Lynda Tabuya says she believes in the very important work of the Fiji Cancer Society.

While speaking at the World Cancer Day – Landmark Lighting event at the GPH last night, Tabuya says the government is committed to closing the care gap.

Tabuya further has assured people who are dealing with cancer, struggling with pain and stigma, that they matter.

Tabuya also thanked the donors for the support as the people will feel that they are not alone.

In Fiji it is estimated that we diagnose more than 1000 cancer cases each year.
