Hurricanes captain Dane Coles has revealed that there is anxiety amongst some players if their final Super Rugby Aotearoa match against the Highlanders goes ahead.

Coles admits there is some fear amongst his side, and no one will be forced to play if they do not want to play tomorrow.

New Zealand Rugby will await further guidance from the government before making a call on whether this weekend's games will be played, but the Hurricanes have taken matters into their own hands.

The Hurricanes captain says that they will respect the decision of those players and they can stay home with their family.

Meanwhile, the Hurricanes have named their 23 member team to face the Highlanders which include players like Ben May, James Blackwell, Du'Plessis Kirifi, Ardie Savea, Wes Goosen, Peter Umaga-Jensen and Jordie Barrett.

The Hurricanes will take on the Highlanders at 7.05 pm tomorrow.
