Hunting rifle among items stolen in Labasa home invasion

A hunting rifle is among $6,000 worth of items taken during a home burglary at Navakasigani Airport Road in Labasa yesterday.

Police have launched an investigation into the incident and are requesting anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activities between 11am and 2pm yesterday to call the Divisional Crime Officer North on 9904 267.

According to Police, the farmer came home and discovered that his home had been broken into.

He found several items missing which included a laptop, mobile phones, a hunting rifle, and assorted items estimated to be valued at more than $6,000.
