Chief Statistician of the Household Survey Division Poasa Naimila

The Household Income Survey for 2025/2026 is expected to be completed by March next year.

Chief Statistician of the Household Survey Division Poasa Naimila says to make the work more manageable, the survey has been divided into four sub-rounds.

Naimila says the first round has been completed, with three remaining.

He says one of the major challenges the team is facing involves the respondents.

Naimila notes that these challenges are primarily encountered in urban areas, where enumerators frequently have to wait for residents to return from work to complete the survey.

He adds that the public needs to be aware that enumerators will be coming around to collect data and urges everyone to assist by making their work easier.
