Fire destroys wooden house in Makoi

House in flames in Makoi.

A wooden house was destroyed by fire at Kalokalo Crescent in Makoi this afternoon.

The National Fire Authority says they had received the call just past 3pm and they had sent a truck to the scene.

Eyewitnesses say there was no one at home when the fire started. NFA is investigating the cause of the fire.
