All businesses are back in operation at the Port Denarau Marina.

Chief Executive Officer Cynthia Rasch says they have also seen some new tenancies such as Sails Denarau and Seventh Heaven, amongst a few.

Rasch further says since November 2021, there has been a hive of activities at the Marina following border re-opening and as more properties in the Yasawas and Mamanucas have reopened, they have seen heightened activity with their commercial ferries and business in general within the port premises.

She says when the borders shut down, keeping operations ongoing and staff employed was a challenge not just for them but for their tenants as well.

Rasch adds they assisted their tenants by discounting rentals to ensure they could survive and reopen their doors when the borders opened.

Rasch says they lobbied for the government to open up maritime borders which resulted in the Blue Lanes initiative and they kept abreast of changing protocols and constantly aligning their business towards changing times.
