If you are living in the Eastern Half of Viti Levu which includes areas from Rakiraki, Korovou, Nausori, Suva, Lami and Navua, Vanua Levu, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands, the Yasawa, Lau and the Lomaiviti Group, there is a heavy rain warning for your areas.
This is because of a low pressure system that remains slow moving over the country.
Occasional rain, heavy at times and few thunderstorms is expected over these areas.
Persistent heavy rain poses the risk of flooding of small rivers, creeks and roads and flash flooding of low lying areas.
