A Heavy Rain Warning remains in force for the whole of Fiji Group while a Flash Flood Warning remains in force for all flood-prone areas, small streams and low-lying areas of Viti Levu and Vanua Levu.

A Flood Alert remains in force for flood-prone areas adjacent to and downstream of Wainimala, Waidina, Wainibuka and Ba Rivers.

The Nadi Weather Office says a trough of low pressure lies over the group associated with clouds and rain and is expected to affect the country for the next few days.

Water levels at the Nadi Back Road Station and Nadi Bridge Station were above warning level and is decreasing while water levels at Ba Fiji Sugar Corporation and Waimanu Station were above alert level and decreasing.

Expect poor visibility on the roads, flooding of roads and settlements (formal and informal) in low-lying areas and floodplains.

The Nadi Weather Office says we can also have river and flash flooding of river catchments, leading to localised damage to infrastructure, agricultural farms and settlements near streams and riverbanks.
