A Heavy Rain Alert is now in force for the whole of Fiji.
The Nadi Weather Office says a trough of low pressure associated with cloud and rain is approaching Fiji from the west and is expected to direct northerly wind flow over the group from tomorrow afternoon.
They say occasional rain and thunderstorms is expected to affect the group from tomorrow afternoon until Saturday morning.
