A Makoi shop that was in non-compliance with basic food hygiene and storage practices has been issued with a closing order from the Food Unit of the Ministry of Health.
The Health Ministry is advising shopkeepers and food business operators around the country to follow basic food hygiene and food storage practices as stipulated in the Food Safety Act 2003.
The Ministry says if any shopkeepers and food business operators are found, they can face a fine or even closure.
