Former NRL star Jarryd Hayne and former Rabbitohs lock John Sutton are in the country to assist Vodafone Fiji Bati Head Coach Wise Kativerata prepare the team for the Pacific Rugby League Bowl Championship.

Kativerata says he has brought in Hayne and Sutton to assist the team adding the two players are part of a strategic effort to elevate the image of rugby league in the country.

He adds that the combination of Hayne’s on-field vision and Sutton’s tactical advice will be instrumental in shaping the team’s strategy for the crucial match this weekend.

Kativerata believes that with the added support from Hayne and Sutton, the team is well-positioned to make a strong statement on the field and inspire the next generation of rugby league players in Fiji.

The Bati will host the Kumuls at 8:10pm this Saturday at the HFC Bank Stadium.
