Hard work has paid off for newly inducted lawyer Kenneth Dauloloma following his admission to the bar after a long, demanding, and transformative five years of study at the University of the South Pacific.
Dauloloma is part of the forty-five students who earned their Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Professional Diploma in Legal Practice (PDLP) from USP’s School of Law and Social Sciences (SoLaSS).
Reflecting on his path to the Bar, Dauloloma expressed heartfelt gratitude to his parents and siblings for their unwavering support.
He says he is deeply honoured to have been admitted to the Fiji High Court.
Dauloloma acknowledged the unwavering love and support from God, his family, and friends throughout his journey.
He also paid special tribute to his late grandmother, Adi Laisani Moceisawana, and late father, Theo Koot, whose memories continue to inspire him.
Another graduate, Nandita Natasha Naidu shared her joy at completing her PDLP despite a challenging five-year journey filled with life-changing events.
She says she is excited to embark on this new chapter in her legal career.
Naidu says it was an honour to have Richard Naidu move her petition, and she is equally thrilled to be joining the outstanding litigation team led by Ronal Singh at Munro Leys.
She adds she looks forward to the opportunities ahead and to contribute meaningfully in this next stage of her journey.

While speaking during the admission, Chief Justice Salesi Temo reminded the graduates of the weight of responsibility they now carried.
He says as they begin their careers, make it a priority to learn as much as they can and never hesitate to seek guidance from senior practitioners who many have decades of courtroom experience and valuable lessons to share.
He also reminded the new lawyers to uphold the highest ethical standards, emphasising that above all, be polite and remain honest.
