Hard work pays off for Labasa Sangam College Dux Shreya Sharma

Hard work, dedication and unwavering support from family and teachers have helped Shreya Ridhima Sharma achieve a proud milestone as the Dux of Labasa Sangam College.

Speaking to fijivillage News, Sharma says it is a proud moment for her, and she feels very grateful to be awarded the Dux Award.

Reflecting on her sacrifices, Sharma says she did not even hope to be the school Dux in the start of the year.

She says in terms of studying, she used to study overnight.

Sharma says she excelled in subjects like Maths, Chemistry, Physics and Technology, scoring the highest marks in these subjects.

She says she dedicates her award to her family, who have been very supportive throughout.

When asked about her future plans, Sharma says she will be pursuing a course in MBBS to become a doctor, as it has always been her dream to help people.

Her message to other students is to keep working hard in order to fulfil their wishes throughout their academic journey and achieve all their achievements and ambitions.

She also thanked her teachers, saying they have been very helpful throughout her academic journey and have gone the extra mile to help her with every question and difficulty she faced.
