Hands Across Fiji launched

Come forward and assist fellow Fijians in need

Legend FM, FM96, Viti FM, Navtarang, Radio Sargam and Fijivillage have today launched a Facebook community page, Hands Across Fiji to connect people who need assistance to those in their own areas who are wanting to assist them, after the devastating effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

People who are severely affected can private message the page with their request and what they need. This will then be verified and the post will be put up for people in the area to come forward and assist. The identities of those in need will not be publicised.

Those wanting to assist will then be sent the details and they will go to the affected people, assess and then provide the assistance they can give.

Only through mutual agreement will photos of people giving and receiving assistance be put up on the page.

We would also like to inform people that we are not receiving any cash donations.

You can like or follow the page at : www.facebook.com/handsacrossfiji

Come forward and assist fellow Fijians in this worthy cause.
