HK 7s: Fijiana win 5th place play-off after beating USA 19-7

The Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s side finished fifth in the HSBC Hong Kong 7s after beating the USA 19-7 in the 5th place playoff last night.

Fijiana ran in three tries to the USA’s 1 try.

Ilisapeci Delaiwau, Sesenieli Donu, and Adi Mereani Rogosau touched down with Kelerayani Luvu adding two conversions.

Fijiana now looks forward to improving their standings in the Singapore 7s this weekend if they want to qualify for the finals in Los Angeles which will be held from the 3rd to the 4th of May, as only the top eight teams will go through.

They are currently ranked eighth with 26 points.
