Green House is currently leading the MGM High School inter-house overall medal tally with 9 gold, 4 silver, and 5 bronze.

Yellow House is in second place with 7 gold, 5 silver, and 5 bronze, Blue House is third with 6 gold, 6 silver, and 5 bronze, while Red House is in last place with 5 gold, 5 silver, and 2 bronze medals.

School Principal Rageshwar Prasad told fijivillage Sports that they aim to defend their boys' and girls' titles at the Zone meet in Week 9.

Prasad says they are also aiming to defend the girls' title at the Coca-Cola Games.

He says they started early to ensure they had enough time to prepare for the Zone meet.

He adds that they are proud to see the number of parents who have turned up to support their children.

Prasad is urging former students and supporters to show up in large numbers during the Zone meet so they can successfully defend their title again this year.

The MGM High School inter-house competition is underway at the HFC Stadium in Suva.
