Alifeo Nasovasova won gold in the senior boys 1,500m event.

Another gold medal has been added to Green House during the Suva Grammar School Battle of the Colours competition after Alifeo Nasovasova of Lavena, Taveuni came first in the senior boys 1,500m event at the HFC Bank Stadium this morning.

This has put Green into the lead with 11 gold, 12 silver and 8 bronze while Blue is second with 11 gold, 4 silver and 6 bronze bronze medals.

In 3rd place is Yellow with 2 gold, 5 silver and 3 bronze medals while Red House is in the 4th position with 4 gold, 5 silver and 6 bronze medals.

The former student of Bucalevu Secondary School aims to win a gold medal for Suva Grammar School in the Coca-Cola games this year.

The 18-year-old sprinter hopes winning a gold medal this morning will inspire other athletes to do their best and make themselves proud of what they have achieved.
