A man has thanked the government for the initiatives it has undertaken to help Fijians and commended the Attorney General for his hard work.

Pandit Sanjay Narayan Sharma was speaking at a talanoa session at Pandit Shreedhar Maharaj College in Wainibokasi yesterday.

Sharma say he sees Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum at one place one day and another the next day to see that the country goes forward.

He says the government provides grants for people to build their houses, and he has given his application to the Housing Authority and bought a piece of land.

Sharma says he had never thought he would build his own house and the government is giving a grant of $15,000 to build their own home.

He says everyone can get ahead in life and prosper.
