The coalition government has the vision and is determined to provide equal development opportunities for all ethnic communities in Fiji.

Minister for Multi-Ethnic Affairs, Charan Jeath Singh highlighted this while meeting ethnic communities of Solomon Islanders, Ni-Vanuatu and Indo-Fijians in Levuka.

Singh reiterated the coalition government’s firm commitment to ensuring that communities beyond the iTaukei group are not overlooked in development initiatives by the government.

He further says the Ministry of Multi-Ethnic Affairs has been reintroduced after 16 years with a new vision to reconnect with ethnic groups in Fiji as they all contribute equally towards the development and growth of the nation.

The Minister adds that the government is keen on the development of ethnic communities through line Ministries that provide community development projects.
