Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Professor Biman Prasad

I understand that the Frank Hilton Organization requires more funding and resources and the government will be looking into assisting them.

These were the words of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Professor Biman Prasad, during an interview with fijivillage News when asked how they are looking to support the organization.

Professor Prasad says the government appreciates and acknowledges the hard work they do for the children of Fiji, as they are doing their best to make a difference.

He says the impact they are having on the lives of others is to a great extent and as the government, they want to make sure there is support for them through finances.

He further says that they will continue supporting organisations around Fiji.

Frank Hilton Organization is the only early detection and intervention service provider for children living with disability in Fiji.

While speaking on fijivillage Straight Talk with Vijay Narayan, Chief Executive Officer of Hilton Organization, Sureni Perera said they provide care to children with high support needs, with no support and those who are neglected by family.

Perera adds high support needs are those children who require help in every aspect of daily living from drinking, feeding and grooming to positioning.

Meanwhile the Frank Hilton Organization Bara Battle has began 7am this morning at Albert Park to raise much-needed funds to support the essential services provided by the organization.
