Anesh Anushal Goundar a chef at InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa has won the Hotel Chef category at the prestigious 2024 HM Awards for Hotel and Accommodation Excellence.

Goundar’s outstanding leadership and culinary expertise have elevated Navo Restaurant, the resort’s signature restaurant, to new heights.

He is known for his ability to showcase local ingredients creatively and has set a standard for dining in Fiji, leaving a lasting impression on both guests and his fellow colleagues.

Venina Tuikenatabua was also acknowledged as Highly Commended in the Human Resource Associate category, reflecting her exceptional contributions to fostering a supportive and thriving work environment for the resort’s team.

The resort also received recognition as Highly Commended in the Fijian Luxury Resort category, a testament to its ongoing commitment to delivering world-class guest experiences.

The award ceremony was held earlier this month at Cordis Auckland, to honour the finest talent and properties across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.
