Investigations into the Gokals warehouse fire in Toorak last month is almost in the final stage and is expected to conclude in the next two weeks.
This has been confirmed by National Fire Authority CEO Puamau Sowane who says they are waiting for the test results from the Police Forensic before they can finalize the fire investigations report.
Meanwhile, High Street in Toorak, where the warehouse is located, is still closed off.
It is expected to reopen in two weeks, following the conclusion of the investigation.
Police confirm investigations are being handled by the Police Criminal Investigations Department.
The warehouse has been destroyed, resulting in an estimated $8 million in damage.
The NFA says the early morning blaze took nine hours to extinguish and has raised serious concerns about fire safety infrastructure in the capital.
