Ba Director of Football Rodeck Singh says getting the first 3 points at home means a lot for the team, especially with the huge expectations from their fans.

Speaking to fijivillage Sports after their 2-1 victory over Navua in their opening FMF Inter District Championship match at the 4R Electric Stadium in Govind Park, Singh says there is a lot of good pressure on the team.

Singh says they knew that securing the 3 points was crucial.

He thanked his players for their efforts and commitment in delivering the win.

When asked what changed in the second half after both teams went goalless in the first spell, Singh highlighted that Ba stuck to their plan and increased the intensity of their game.

This is the first time in 10 years that Ba is playing at their home ground with them winning the title in 2015.

Singh also thanked the Ba fans for their support but stressed that the campaign has only just begun and the team does not want to get carried away.

In today's matches, Nadi will face Suva at 2pm, Rewa will face Navua at 4pm, Labasa will take on Lautoka at 6pm while Ba will take on Nadroga at 8pm.
