As the general election will be held on December 14th, SODELPA Leader, Viliame Gavoka says they are very confident their policies will gain traction and their campaigning intensity will double over the next six weeks or so.

Gavoka is urging everyone to come out and vote.

He says it has been quite a wait and they have been campaigning since late April and are now elated that there is a definite date so they can bring their campaign to another level and are expecting a result they always wanted on the day.

Gavoka says they have confirmed 50 provisional candidates and will be confirming another 5 over the next week or two.

He says their manifesto has been out for the past four or five weeks and is in line with the Government’s budgeting sample.

He says it is comprehensive and bold in a number of areas and their flyers are in circulation all over the country.

The party leader says they will immediately bring everyone together and will move together as one and ensure their message is consistent and intensified to ensure that it reaches everyone in this country.

Gavoka further says they have some very good policies that is youth, i-Taukei, employment and economy oriented.
