Fiji Airways Men's National 7s coach Gareth Baber will be taking part in the Great WOWS Walk in the next 2 weeks where he will have to walk 50km.

Baber who has registered as the WOW Kids Fiji Advocate says the privileged position he finds himself in as the head coach of Fiji 7s and the profile of the 7s team would help aid the process that WOWS Kids go through in helping some of those children living with cancer.

Baber says the stories he has heard from WOWS Kids staff and those he met, strikes him that there is a need for more awareness.

He says generating that awareness is something he can do as he is a talkative person.

He adds he will be looking to publicize the Great WOWS Walk event to help generate funds for the organisation.

Baber and his family will be raising $1,000 during the charity walk for the welfare of the children who have been diagnosed and are living with cancer.
