Fiji Airways Men's 7s interim coach Saiasi Fuli has confirmed that playmaker Terio Tamani will miss this weekend's Dubai 7s but is likely to play in next weekend's tournament.

Fuli says they have capable players who will take up the role left by Tamani and he is looking at Waisea Nacuqu to play at halfback.

He says Raiwasa Taveuni players Iowane Teba and Daniele Yaya will take up the kicking role for the team.

He adds they are coping well with the weather and they are good to go for the Dubai 7s.

The Dubai 7s will be held from today to Sunday.

In the men’s competition, Fiji will face France at 7.22 tonight and will take on Canada at 10.52 tonight in the second game. Fiji will take on Australia at 3.33am tomorrow in their last pool game.

The cup quarterfinals will begin at 6.28pm tomorrow, the cup semifinal will start at 10.18pm tomorrow and the final will be played at 3.26am Sunday.

The Fijiana 7s team will kick off their campaign against Ireland at 5.22pm today, they will take on Canada at 8.56 tonight and play Russia at 3.05am tomorrow in their third pool match.

They will meet Great Britain at 9.07pm tomorrow in their final pool match.

The Women’s bronze final will be at 2.07am Sunday while the final will be at 2.57am Sunday.
