Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s team coach Saiasi Fuli is proud of the progress and productivity of the team to achieve an impressive result by reaching the final of a leg in the World Rugby 7s Series since its inception after nine years.

He says he knows they fell short against Australia but there is a lot to learn and he believes they will bounce back this weekend.

Fuli says it’s tough playing back to back tournaments but the focus is to have a good recovery, assess all injuries and start all over again and produce positive results.

The Fijiana 7s team will play Ireland in their first pool match at 5:22pm on Friday, then take on USA at 8:02pm.

Their third pool match against Great Britain is at 12:14am on Saturday.

Fiji’s final pool game is against France at 8:29pm on Saturday.

The women’s cup final is at 2.56am Sunday.
