Fuel prices to go down while gas price will increase next Wednesday

There is some good news for people as fuel prices will go down from Wednesday.

Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission CEO Joel Abraham has announced that their will be a decrease in fuel prices for Motor Spirit, Premix, Kerosene and Diesel.

The price of Motor Spirit will decrease from $2.16 to $2.06 per litre.

Price of Premix will decrease from $2.04 to $1.90 per litre, price of Kerosene will decrease from $1.67 to $1.47 per litre while the price of Diesel will decrease from $1.87 to $1.71 per litre.

FCCC have also announced that their will be an increase in the price of gas.

A 13kg cylinder will cost people $41.67 from $40.11 while a 12kg cylinder will cost $38.47 from $37.02.

A 4.5kg cylinder will now cost $14.43 from $13.88.
