Fiji Airways Fijiana 7’s extended squad member Sera Bolatini

Fiji Airways Fijiana 7’s extended squad member Sera Bolatini has made a name for herself in the Fiji 15’s rugby scene.

Bolatini began her rugby journey, representing Ovalau in the Royal Tea Ranadi Competition a year ago and playing for Namosi in this year’s ANZ Marama Competition.

She was also part of the extended Fijiana Drua squad.

Bolatini also made her mark on the rugby 7s circuit as a member of the Marist Women’s Rugby Club.

Earlier this year Bolatini took an unexpected detour from the rugby pitch and decided to join boxing.

She joined a club called Boxing Brave for a short while entering various competitions, and soon she was selected to represent Fiji on three international boxing tours.

Despite her successful stint in boxing, Bolatini says her passion for rugby remained.

Bolatini says she has now set her sights on a new goal which is joining the Fijiana 7s squad.

She says this comeback is what she has been waiting for and is working hard to give it her all.

Bolatini is hoping to get the nod for the upcoming Dubai 7s on November 30th.
