Vodafone Fiji will actively participate in the highly anticipated Bara Battle fundraiser as they have been an integral part of the wheelbarrow race.

The Frank Hilton Organization Organization says they are acknowledgin the unwavering support and commitment towards them particularly during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic.

They say Vodafone will facilitate the safe collection of donations through M-Paisa portal.

Vodafone Manager Sponsorship, Adriu Vakarau says they believe in the power of connection, contribution and compassion and the mission is to bring people together and empower individuals and communities.

Vakarau says Vodafone Fiji and the Frank Hilton Wheelbarrow Race share a common goal, that is to make a difference in the lives of Fijians by creating opportunities, driving positive change and ensuring that no one is left behind.

He is also encouraging more spectators to join in at this year’s event.

The Bara Battle will start next Saturday where teams of 4 or 8 will compete in a three-round relay race.
